How long is the VCP 510 Exam available if the New VCP 6 Exam is in Place ?

I plan to make the VCP 510 Certification in the next 3 Months , is there a Deadline for Discontinue the VCP 510 Exam or  exist a announcement  if the  VCP 6 DCV Certification Comes in Place ?

As of today both VCP510 and VCP550 exams are available - the first is based on vSphere 5.0/5.1 and the second on vSphere 5.5 - you can attempt either to gain the VCP5-DCV certification.

The VCP410 exam only retired in 2014, plus the timeframe for the release of VCP6-DCV has not yet been announced, so while nobody can say for sure I don't expect the VCP510/550 exams to retire any time soon.
