So, I took and passed the Data Center Virtualization cert but felt like the video was not enough and without the extra reading I did wouldn't of have passed. The cloud cert looks like it could be harder espically since it looks like I need to install and gain some experience with some of the programs? Not sure which ones....
Of the other associate certs which one would be a good next step? Willing to put in the time and wanted to complete something by Jan 5th which is when school starts back up.
Suggestions?
Thank you, Eric
From what others have said:
DCV is the most straightforward, Cloud is the toughest, and NV has only just been released so I've not read any reports as to where it might rank yet.
Pretty much what Scott said, I have passed all 4 exams and the DCV was easy whereas the Cloud one was hardest, although the WM exam wasn't exactly a walk in the park.
The NV exam was fairly staight forward but that's because I had just attended the ICM course for NSX.
One thing to remember with the VCA exam, it's all about the 3 hour training. I have a colleague of mine with multiple VCAP's who didn't do as well with the Cloud VCA as he thought he would, because he didn't do the 3 hour training.
