The only confusion I could think Scott is that he heard about a partner discount when the VCA's were first released around 12 months ago.

I believe to promote their introduction some VMware partners got free vouchers for a limited time only.  That's how I did my VCA-DCV

However like you I don't believe anything is running now.

Hi Chris,

It wasn't just a partner discount doing the rounds when the VCAs were first launched - there was a general promotion giving everyone 50% discount, plus a bonus promotion that also gave a 50% discount for a limited time - it was that combination of promotions that made VCAs free for all (not just partners).

It's always best to refer to the link I posted to find out what's currently available.
