install horizon workspace without smtp server

hi

i want install horizon woekspace 1.5 all of my dns config was ok but i dont have smtp server and i want cancel this part what do i have to do ?

i want install workspace without cmtp server ? what do i have to do ? error has been attached

You do need smtp server to install for 1.5.x.

You could provide any SMTP server like gmail's smtp.gmail.com as that will not be used for sending emails (as you are not using the SMTP server, which is used for the guest users).

Workspace 1.5 is really old and we end of lifed the Horizon Files functionality in it. What are you looking to evaluate Workspace 1.5 for? Please consider the latest version.

There is a dummy SMTP server running on the configurator-va. So just specify the hostname of your configurator and you should be able to get on with it..

But 1.5 is really, really old.. Please use 2.1 instead..

thanks but in vmware website i see the latest version of horizon workspace is 1.5.2 here :

VMware Workspace Portal 2.1.0 is the new version of vmware horizon workspace 1.5 ??????

Workspace Portal is the new name for Horizon Workspace. 2.1 is the latest version.
