Is it possible to export my vCenter Server configuration into a file?

Good morning VC,

Is it possible to export my vCenter Server configuration (networking, storage, etc.) into readable format for tracking purposes or into a .conf file to restore at a later time?

Logically Network and Storage are configured for individual ESXi host.


If you want to take bacup of Network config (dvSwitch)

Thanks for the info Sateesh_vCloud.

As far as the storage, I was looking for more of a snapshot that I could export into say an Excel spreadsheet. I can always just 'Print Screen' the info and save it that way or better yet, capture it from within the SAN directly.

Have a look at RVtools. This is a great app that will allow you to export items into excel etc..
