Determining the IP and Name of the end point device connected to a virtual desktop

Is there a way to determine what is the IP address or network name of the device that is connected to a virtual desktop?  I have a client with Wyse thin clients that use random names and would like to know where this information can be found for remote management.

HKCU\Volatile Environment on the virtual desktop should contain information about the device you are connecting from.

Thank you so much!  I spent a good hour searching two weeks ago and all the posts I found was to look at the View Connection server's text logs which are extremely difficult to parse and not practical.
