Can't install vCenter Operations Manager 5.8.4 ova

Hi All

I am having difficulty installing the vCenter Operations Manager 5.8.4 ova in vCenter 5 (ESXi 5.5 update 2). I am having the exact same issue as this guy is:

No matter how many times I deploy the ova I keep getting the following error:

trust.sh: failed to setup trust to AnalyticsIP

I am installing the following ova:

VMware-vcops-5.8.4.0-2199700-vapp.ova

I tried the following knowledgebase article and/or other troubleshooting techniques:

Neither of these worked for me however. The two vCops VMs can see each other as when I SSH in and I can ping each servers IP. I can also resolve DNS names on the internet which proves my DNS and gateway is working. I tried powering on the Analytics VM and waiting for one hour before turning on the UI VM but this didn't help.

Can anyone assist please? I'd really like to trial vCops 5.8.4! Thank you. :smileycool:

Check your vApp setting (IP/netmask/ etc), as well as check your settings in the IP pool. This will typically happen if there is a setting misconfig somewhere.

These must be correct at the two VMs can ping each other...

Anymore ideas? I've tried numerous times (unsuccessfully) to deploy the vCenter Operations Manager 5.8.4 ova. :smileyconfused:

Do you have DNS configured, both FWD and REV records, as different names/IPs for each VM in the vApp? e.g. vcops-analytics.corp.local and vcops-ui.corp.local.
