7.0.1 issues persisting with screen res

Win7 guest, latest MBP retina, fusion 7.0 now 7.0.1

In VM settings i have Use Retina ON. Scaling tried on all settings, doesn't seem to make any difference. Auto Resizing OFF. I run my VM in Full Screen. NEVER in window or Unity.

If i set the screen res manual to say 1920x1200, everytime i use a hot corner to see my Mac desktop the guest VM goes back to full retina 2880x18xx res.

How can i fix the res if the Auto Resizing Feature in fusion isn't working?

My suggestion is to rename instead of delete as suggested in that post.
