Audit/ Configuration Question

I setup log insight manager 2.0 recently to collect logs from all of my esxi5.5 host. I imported the host that I wanted to have the logs collected from and it seems to work. I am now being asked, "what logs does insight manager collect". Can configure the tool to only collect certain logs? My network guy is afraid that I may overwhelm our network if I collect everything.

I didn't see an option to configure only certain logs to be sent to Log Insight Manager. Is this an option? I'd hate to ring down our network.

You collect everything that the hypervisor generates. You cannot and should not select what logs to send as then you will cripple your troubleshooting ability. As for network, it should not be a concern, see this post: http://sflanders.net/2014/08/20/log-insight-calculator/
