Hi All,
A quick question to you all.
Am I right in thinking, if I need HA for two hosts, the minimum I need is VMWare Standard and vCenter Server or can I get away with vCenter Essentials and or vmware essentials?
TIA
M
The minimum license needed for HA is vSphere Essentials Plus Kit, that will provide you the vCenter Essentials license and vSphere ESXi license for up 03 servers with 2 physical CPU each.

Thanks for the extremely fast response!
So basically this one:
VMware vSphere Essentials Plus Kit provides an all-in-one solution for small businesses to virtualize their physical servers and reduce hardware costs while ensuring superior high application availability and data protection.
Which is £3,833.50
Is it just like the one I am used to (vCenter Standard & vSphere Standard) ?
Thanks again!
Yes, it is very similar but with some limitations like number of hosts that you can manage with Essentials Plus Kit.
You're welcome and don't forget to award points for helpful or correct answers.
I presume I can therefore have three hosts and unlimited Guests ? I have Windows 2012 R2 DataCenter.
TIA
Yes, the limit that applies for this license is the configuration maximums for vSphere/vCenter: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsphere5/r55/vsphere-55-configuration-maximums.pdf
