Hello All,
I've searched for a way to export performance info on a single VM and a select set of VM's and was unsuccessful.
I know I can do "esxtop > /tmp/perf.csv" to get the info from the esxtop. The problem is when having 40+ VM's running on a host makes it difficult to read afterwards.
My gaul is to get the perf info on VM-001, VM-002, VM-003 only.
Please help and thanks in advance.
Will
Why dont you use RVTools to get the report .? Its a nice tool to satisfy your needs.
Thanks for the reply. This is the first I've heard of the RVTools. I will have to see what I can find on it. Do you have any suggestions where to start?
I'm guessing here? RVTools - Home
Will the RVTools show me info in real time as esxtop does?
I do like the RVTools, but it doesn't seem to output the info from the VM's in real time. Using "esxtop > /tmp/perf.csv" I can let it run for a time period and view that info. Also, this tool is showing all the VM's and not just the ones I need info from.
But I do like the tool, thanks
Will
Here is an example of what I'm looking for. I just want to bring down the info to a select few of VM's and the info to get, like CPU, Mem, etc:
