VMmotion Issue

Hi,

Need to Install and add New ESX Server in datacenter, problem is new Hp Hardware has 2- Processor Socket with 6-Core/Socket  while existing ESX has also 2-Socket but 4-Core/Socket so in this scenario will the Vmotion will work between the OLD and NEW Esx?

Look forward to receiving support,

Regards,

Azfar
