I had a similar problem with Rollup Jobs not working as expected and growing the transaction logs... another thing to check is the recovery model for database, this should be Simple.

Hello,

your vcenter database transaction log isn't becoming full, anyway i would recommend you to check carefully this:

Troubleshooting when the vcenter db transaction log becomes full (MS SQL server 2005 express)

Maybe it can be helpful.

Best regards,

Pablo

Ok, hehehe Smiley Happy

If the database backup (i guess your sql server database is running in the full recovery mode) isn't done, then the transaction log isn't truncated/shrinked.

Best regards,

Pablo

Hi Pablo,

yes, you are correct actually it is running a  FULL recovery mode.

Actually backup engineer disable job scheduler  for maintenance so that day job did not run which makes a sudden transaction logs bigger then it usually transfer and there was no logs for even failed jobs because the transaction log job did not run.

Thanks Pablo !! Smiley Happy
