Unable to select AD group for Fabric , Business groups

Hi

It seems like I am unable to make use of AD groups when configuring the Fabric Administrator. It only seems to work with users.
I also seem unable to make use of AD groups for Group Manager,Support and User roles under Business Groups.
It also does not work for entitlements but does work when adding approval users.

Is this by design?

Autocomplete won't work. However groupname@domain when entered explicitly will work for most of those. I think the Group Manager needs to be an individual.

In order to use AD Domain groups for entitlements, you have to add a group under the Administration tab, Select Custom Group, name the group (GROUPNAME), then add the AD domain group in the "Add Existing Groups or Individ..."

Then, in the business group add the custom group to the users or support users box using the custom group UPN (IE GROUPNAME@vpshere.local). Do the same in the entitlements (add GROUPNAME@vsphere.local).

Once you have that, users in the AD group should be able to see entitlements properly. Group manager can only be a user / DL list.
