Does esata drive works in a Vitual Machine?

Hello everybody.

I have a VMWare Wokstation 10 with a Windows 7 virtual machine, so I wondering if there are some trick to make a esata drive to works with this virtual machine, somebody knows how?

An eSATA device is not directly attachable to a VM like a USB device however you can assign it as a VMware Shared Folder and access it in that manner.  Or as an SMB/CIFS Share on the Host and access it from the Guest.
