Hey there,
i´m experiencing a strange issue in our site recovery manager 5.5.1.
We did a new SRM installation paired with vsphere replication, replicated all the vms and created a few protection groups.
The first small tests were successfull.
After a reboot of the secondary vcenter, we are now unable to see the site informations in the SRM Plugin on the secondary server.
The local server is displayed as "Not connected" and the primary site is shown as "unavailable".
After aprox. 5 Minutes, the authentication comes up again, and there is a popup message saying "Time out loading inventory".
Looking in the primary vcenter site SRM Plugin, i can see both Sites succesfully.
We already checked DNS on all components, and did a modify and repair installation, but that didn´t helped.
When we do a "configure connection" and reenter the credentials, all the checks are marked green and it ends successfull.
But the connection state stays in the way i described.
Has anyone seen errors like this ? Any idea on what could be wrong ?
Thanks and best regards,
Andre
same issue with me too, after joining new domain. protected host is Good but DR host is "unknown".
There are some AD Timeout Values in the Advanced Settings. Try extending them.
Hi,
we had a SR with VMware and they advised us to remove the SRM extension in the mob of the vCenter.
After that we did a modify installation of both SRM sites and everything worked fine 🙂
Best regards,
Andre
Hi Andre,
Did you do anything else while rebooting the secondary vCenter server - change of certificates, authentication?
Best Regards
