Hi
I have VCO appliance 5.1.2 running. I am pretty sure I have configured it correctly as the setup used to work once upon a time.
The VCO Admin group is set to SYSTEM_DOMAIN_administrators_ and my account is part of that group.
When I log in to VCO client I have no issues creating folders and new workflow (or duplicating them).
However, I seem not to be able to edit the workflow. When I go to schema tab I cannot drag workflow elements to to it. As a matter a fact, I don't see the elements appear on the left side at all. Any ideas what could be the problem?
Unable to edit at all. The license is OK. I fixed the problem by upgrading 5.1.2. I was running 5.1.1, not 5.1.2 has mistakenly reported.
Can you open workflow editor? You can open workflow editor by selecting custom workflow, any clicking yellow pencil icon at top of VCO client or pressing "CTRL + E".
If you cannot open editor, then your VCO is most likely running in limited player mode which has workflow editor disabled. VCO editor is supported only with vCenter Server Standard license. If you have vCenter Server Standard license check that your vCenter Server license is properly detected by VCO configuration service at https://<yourvcoserver>:8283/
I have also tried with changing the vco admin group to a ldap group of which I am member but I am getting same issue.
I have also given full access rights at the root level to another group I am member of but that does not work either.
Not sure whether this is related at all, but when I change the VCO admin to an LDAP group and click apply the entry does not stick and it displays another random LDAP group
