new vms not getting network connectivity

When I spin up new vms, the vms are not getting network connectivity unless I add them to under the exclusion list under vshield app. why is that? This is happening only for new vms. Does vshield block new mac addesses from getting network connectivity?

Major problem here. I tried uninstall vshield on all hosts and reinstalling and no go.

but if I go the the server under vshield manager and do a force sync

and reboot the vm, then it gets network.

any idea?

is this a bug? I never used o have this problem

even after i do a force sync and then i vmotion the vm to another host, It loses network connectivity. If I do another force sync on the other host, then its ok

What is the vShield vCNS version you are running?

I highly recommend moving to 5.5 Edge/App for general fixes, but also because this is a known issue with 5.1.2a/b (ish). Moving to 5.5 fixed the issue with us (and this is an App issue).

I think the issue was described as "moving VM's from a non-vshield App protected cluster, to a vShield app protected cluster causes networking to not function".
