Certified training Center for vmware courses

Hi,

I am planning to take a course for vmware vsphere 5.5 to get certified later, is there a site or URL to check if the training center its certified by vmware in order to qualify for the exam after taking the course, its for VCP exam VMware Certified Professional 5 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV)

Go to  VMware Partner Locator  --> choose your country and wait for the other drop downs to be available. Choose any province/state options as applicable.

Once Partner Type is available choose "VMware Training Center"

They should be listed there.

You can also send me a PM and I can let you know.

I found this information for the partner using the instructions you gave me, it has the below solution competencies but does not appear as training center, does this mean if I take the course there I wont be able to take the VCP exam as it does not fill the pre-requsites?

Partner Program:     Solution Provider  

Solution Competencies:    Business Continuity, Cloud IaaS, Infrastructure Virtualization

Just choose a country and leave the rest of the fields empty to begin with, then you can start to see what locations the training is done in and narrow down your search.

They could be. Send me a PM of who it is and I can check in the background. Sometimes they offer training courses through VMware as contractors (i.e., we may not have enough VMware-Direct employee instructors in an area and we contract a course to them but listed it as VMware Training as the VATC)
