Need Report which shows Point In time instances

Hi all

I have successfully upgraded my virtual centre to 5.5 and installed and configured SRM 5.5 and vSphere replication and am now successfully replicating 20 VMs with 3 Point in time recovery points each over 5 days.  However I need to export a report showing the details of each VM and the successful Point in time instances.  I have used the export button but it only gives me a list of the VMs and their configured details eg the RPO and last synch point, but NOT the information in the preview pane under the VM.

This preview pane is the one in vSphere Web client under Monitor, vSphere Replicaiton and it lists all the VMs and if you highlight one VM, the preview pane give you the number of Point In times kept and timestamps.  I would like to export a list of all of these for all our VMs.  Is this possible in vSphere or do I have to create a script?  Ideally I would like this emailed to my manager each week but can't see any SMTP settings or automated reports at all?  Is there a reporting feature that I have failed to install?  I have search this forum but have not found much to help me.

TIA

Hi,

The information for available replica instances is not available in public API in the current VR releases.

The information is present in VR server database and also via internal VRMS API.

You might script something around the dump of VR server database (using hbrsrv-replicainfo.sh -p), however, this is not officially supported and can change without notice.

Martin
