ESXi 5.5 Ready? GA-6PXSV4

Hi

I bought the following board GIGABYTE B2B Service - Server Motherboard - Socket 2011 - GA-6PXSV4 (rev. 1.0)

and installed ESXi 5.5 with latest drivers/patch. I am having a few problems with 5.5 that I did not have with 5.1u2.

1.) Onboard Intel SATA Patsburg 6 port SATA controller does not pass-through to a Guest VM. I get a error code 10 in windows 7 or 8 complaining of a hardware error.

2.) Onboard USB 3.0 is detected natively but USB devices not detected. I can add the xhci controller to a guest vm but not able to attach ANY usb 3.0 device connected to the USB 3.0 port. Oddly, USB 3.0 pass-through work fine.

I then tried ESXi 5.1 rollup update 2 and the SATA controller passes through fine. However, issues no.2 is still present. No matter what I try I cannot add a USB device if it is connected to a USB 3.0 port.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I tried EHCI enabled/disabled and all other BIOS options and it didn't make a difference. Just to be clear, I am referring to USB 3.0 ports not USB 2.0. The USB 2.0 ports are seen fine.

I am however booting in UEFI mode and do not want to go back to BIOS.
