Hey there! New VCDX-DCV applicant! Need a book recommendation!

Hi everybody! My name is Fabricio and I'm hoping to become a VCDX soon. I already have the VCAP5 DCA and DCD certification :). I have 2 years of experience as a VMware Consultant/Architect plus 4 years as an Administrator.

I would like to ask if someone used any book or publication as a guideline for the requirements analysis and design process. Not just talking about VMware related material, I'm more interested in the engineering and architecture background. Any info will be helpful.

Thanks!!!

Regards,

Fabricio.

Welcome and best of luck! Just do a Google search for vcdx experience and you get a number of blog posts on the subject. I heard that there is a book in the works, but I am not sure if it is completed.

The VCDX Bootcamp is a valid resource. There are also some books about the design part (one is from Scott Lowe).

Remember also that there are some VCDX bootcamp across the world, so just follow @vcdx001 in order to remain up to date on upcoming events.
