SRM from vCloud Suite to vSphere Enterprise Plus

Was just asked this question today and thought I'd ping the community about it.

Is there a problem with using SRM from the vCloud Suite and targeting a cluster licensed under vSphere Enterprise Plus? I'm specifically wondering about application workloads templated and deployed in vCloud which depend on vShield Edge Gateway for network isolation. Since that's not part of Enterprise Plus (and can't be purchased for it), how will that feature work in a failure situation? In fact, how does one protect and run vCloud Director in a disaster scenario?

Hi,

Regarding your licensing question; I suggest you contact your VMware Sales representative.

As for protecting the vCloud Director in a disaster scenario, there is a technical whitepaper from VMware available on this subject.
