Shortcut to achieve VCDX- Datacenter Virtualization.

Friends,

I would like to know to achieve VCDX can choose below path to avoid submitting VCDX design defense.

VCP5-DCV >VCAP5DCA >VCAP-CID >VCDX- Datacenter Virtualization.

Currently holding VCP5-DCV & VCP Cloud. VCAP5DCA inprogress..hope will pass it soon

Any information will be highly appreciated.

You have to submit and defend a design defense. That is required for VCDX. There are no shortcuts. You must have: VCP --> VCAP-Design and VCAP-Administration Exam and then submit and successfully defend design for VCDX

In this case, can i choose VCAP- CID design for cloud instead of VCAP-DCD ?  Please advise.

Yes - in fact if you want the VCDX-Cloud you will need to earn the VCAP-CIA and VCAP-CID certification before sitting for the VCDX defense according to the flow chart here - (VCDX-Cloud) VMware Certified Design Expert-Cloud.

The other option is to pursue and obtain VCDX-DCV and when you pass the VCAP-CID cert you will obtain the VCDX-Cloud certification.
