Can I manually upload VMware vCenter Chargeback Manager logs to log insight in order to analyze them?

I want to analyze VMware CBM logs using loginsight.Should I setup a syslog server or manually upload the logs to log insight server and if it can be done what is the procedure for the same?

Log Insight can handle any messages sent over the syslog protocol. Technically, this means Log Insight is focused on runtime logs. With that said, you could configure a syslog agent to monitor a directory or file of CRB logs and have it forward them to Log Insight for analysis. Log Insight is a syslog server and accepts ingestion over the syslog protocol. You would need to configure your CBM systems to forward events to Log Insight. Have a look at this thread: How to set a syslog for vCenter Chargeback?.

Thanks for the reply.

Syslog server will be helpful to analyze the logs generated by Chargeback during runtime.

But  how can I upload the old logs and analyze them in LogInsight.
