Cons for using vCenter appliance in a View enviroment?

Hi,

I'm trying to look up the pros and cons for using vCenter applicance instead of Windows version in a View VDI solution. without not much luck.

I'm planning a floating pool with linked-clones. Using newest vSphere version with storage improvements such as Disk space reclamination and Host caching. Also would like to try VSAN. any big considerations I need to take here?

Its not a large enterprise, maybe 100+ users.

One of the cons it that you will need at least one Windows box for View Composer.

I am having issues with authenticating to vCSA when using AD as a source when my usernames contain spaces.  https://communities.vmware.com/thread/464668
