Edit the ESXI ISO

I am trying to install ESXi 5.5 on a Mac Pro 1 1.  I am looking over the instructions on Mac Pro compatibility with installing ESXi 5.0. The Mac Pro does not support booting from a USB Stick so I need to edit the ISO to add an old BOOTIA32.EFI to the EFI\Boot folder on the root of the cd.  Since his is a bootable ISO I am not sure how to do this.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Ciao Mishaua; roberto from italy here.

I'm trying to do the same for few XServe I own; I'll try to follow the indication I found but let me ask you if you were able to solve this problem.

Hello,

Not sure if it works on Xserve, but this post might help:

There's a "mega" thread on the subject of installing ESXi on apple hardware here: ESXi 5.x on new Apple Mac Mini 6,2 Late 2012 *NOT* working

It's "mega" because it is huge (21 pages), but it has a lot of tips on what you can do in order to troubleshoot and get past certain stages. While the main topic is the mac mini, it certainly has other people in there with tips on using other apple hardware.

Hope this helps,
