Manteinance message on login page

Hi,

I should stop vCloud Director web service for upgrade. In the while I'd like to warn our customer some days before of this "site down" just to avoid the case when a client try to login and find a very annoying "page not found".

Is it available this kind of feaure? I'm currently running vCD 1.5.1. My first thought was to change company logo inserting the message there, but I'd prefer using smthg more adeguate.

Yes, but this is the case "in the while". What I'd like, is warning the customers that, a.e., in that day at that hour the service will be unavailable... some kind of Java window...

if you use a load balancer, you can redirect all inbound requests to another website which just displays a message.  that's the other workaround I've presented to people.

Agree, but we're still talking of a "in the while" solution... I AM using a LB, but I need a warmning window before the upgrade process, when services are still working...
