vcap-cia authorization mismatch

Hi all,

I requested authorization to schedule the vcap-cia exam, and I got it as shown in My VMware account.

But nothing appears in My pearsonvue account.

Contacted certifications e-mail, but still no answer.

Any hint?

Do you have multiple pearsonvue Login ID's? If you do it would be registered with one of it. Did you choose VMware advanced professional option before signing in?

When you login to PearsonVUE does it say your Candidate ID is pending or do you already have a Candidate ID for VMware?

No multiple, right advanced choice... the login is the same one showing my last vcp exam...

Honestly, I can't see my Vmware ID in p.v. account. Neither any pending status

Apologize - I have a Candidate ID shown in pearsonvue account.

But it's different than the one in mylearn.

The first one is smthg like "VCPxxxxxx",

the second, "VMW-XXXXXP-XXXXXX"

Where I'm wrong?

Your PearsonVUE ID should also be VMW-XXXXXP-XXXXXX. But its a little tricky. Why don't you call PearsonVUE guys and get it sorted?

Create a new Pearson account using the new "VMW-XXXXXP-XXXXXX" account number.

Bingo! It works. Now I should only ask Pearsonvue guys to aggregate my 2 accounts...
