Is there a limit of VMs you can place in a DRS rule?

I know once upon a time there was a 2 VM limit on DRS rules even though you could place 10 VMs inside.

I'm using ESX 5.0 and just wondered if that limit still applied or if you could place as many VMs as you like inside a rule and it will work.

Thanks

Hi,

You can configured rules using Drs Group Manager....

Host group and vm Group and apply the rules(must and should rules)

Top man , thanks for the quick response.

So I shouldn't use individual rules anymore and instead create groups to ensure all my affinity rules are applied.
