I have a unique problem I've been troubleshooting for a month with no resolution. I'm hoping someone may have run across this same issue and found a resolution as it is a tough one to even Google. I'm running vSphere 5.1 (previously 5 and 4.1) on a Windows 7 x64 machine and each install has given me the same (display, console) screen. I have attached the image of what I am seeing. Within the small square allotted, you can see 'Getting Started' is where it should be and the left and right arrows take you through the tabs but there is no way to increase the screen size to see what you're doing. I can 'Open Console' from the inventory list and edit settings with no issue, so I'm not completely stuck. It's just the main display that has this issue. Changed screen res from 1920 x 1080 to every other size available but no dice. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the client, removed all registry entries and program files directories and still end up with this tiny box in the display after reinstalling. My next step would be to reinstall windows which would be a pain in the neck but will hopefully solve the problem. Wondering if anyone else here has encountered this and could throw some insight my way.
Thanks!
Is this with only one system? What if you open the client from another machine?
Thanks for the quick reply! This is just on my Desktop. I have the client installed on my laptop which has no issues. Each tech within my company has it installed as well with no issue.
What if you create a new user profile and log in with that account and check?
Whoops. Forgot to mention that in my original post. Same small sized window across all user profiles, domain and local, on this machine. What prompted me to consider a reinstall.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling .net framework and check? Also a clean boot?

Thanks again for the response.
After an un/re of .Net 4.0 and a clean boot, I am getting the screen shot below. Instead of the small box, vSphere just shows "Loading..." This one may be a bit easier for me to research. I'll report back if I find anything. In the mean time, if anyone has seen either of these issues before, I would definitely appreciate your input. Thanks!
