vCOPS and Hyperic

Hi guys,

I've installed vCOPS and also Hyperic for Application level monitoring. Have added a Hyperic adapter on vCOPS so i can show all the metrics hyperic collects on vCOPS. When i'm customizing the parameters to be shown i don't see the metrics i've selected on hyperic side apart from Availability. Do i have to import any custom attribute packages for seeing hyperic metrics in vCOPS? Please help me. I'm stuck at a dead end.

In my hyperic instance I can see the Linux and Hq Agent per machine. The real meaty data is under the Linux option. If you use the metric graph then search for hyperic of a server name that has Hyperic you can see the items under your metric selector window.

Hi Abhilash,

Did you add the hyperic adapter for database or the management pack ?

If not yet done, try the Hyperic Management Pack , this comes with default dashboards .
