Anyone implemented IBM Flex based systems with VMware vSphere 5.1? Interested on any feedback or experience willing to share? We have long history with HP blades and older IBM blades and just wondered if anyone had implemented on the latest (90 days or shorter or even 180 days and shorter?) IBM blade system? Compared to HP the IBM Flex architecture seems to be a bit less flexible in configuration? Fewer IO options, or some IO options lock in or block other options... for example using write-back-battery cache controller blocks Mez slot 1? FSM is limited to 3 chassis? Some options/configuration settings in FSM are not pushed down to chassis as expected? For example, legacy boot option if set when FSM captures configuration, when same configuration is pushed to new chassis, legacy boot configuration is missing? We are wondering why someone might like IBM Flex over HP Gen8 blades? Not that either is bad, just wondering what others think about Flex?
