Going to a VMware Knowledge Series.. What to expect & what to bring?

Hey guys,

I'll be heading to the Simplify, Automate and Optimize Virtualization  Operations Management Knowledge Series tomorrow in PA, but this is my first  time going to any event like this. What should I expect and what should I bring with me for the half-day program?

I assume it'd be acceptable to bring my laptop, pen, & paper, etc. I wasn't  sure what else should come with me or the dress code, etc.

you wont need the laptop, just pen and paper for notes.

Dress like IT. There isnt any code bt remember the saying that its better to be overdress then underdressed.
