RDM Configuration (Best Practices...)

Folks, when attaching multiple RDM's on a VM, would you add one RDM per vSCSI adapter, or would you add multiple RDM's to the same vSCSi adapter?

Also, when creating the RDM would you keep it with the virtual machine, or store it on a seperate datastore (RDM pointers)?

Just looking for some best practices.

I usual use a dedicated SCSI controller for all RDMs.

And add each RDM one by one (make a rescan to each ESX every step).

A dedicated folder could be useful only if you make a cluster between two VMs.
