This could be a few things, most likely that port 4172 UDP/TCP is not opened in the firewall.

Some other possible reasons are:

Not configured the PCoIP Tunnel correctly, have a look at the config options for the connection broker.

Not choosing the correct protocol, there is RDP and PCoIP to choose from.

I would strongly recommend not to use IP:s, use proper FQDN:s instead, you will never be able to secure it or loadbalance properly if using IP:s.

As priously 4172 TCp are opend. and now i open both UDP/TCP.

Not configured the PCoIP Tunnel correctly, have a look at the config options for the connection broker.

Connectionwithout pcoip.JPG

I am directly connection to connection server i dont' have install "Security Server" so i don't enable "PCoIp Secure Gateway"option .

Further ,

I would strongly recommend not to use IP:s, use proper FQDN:s  instead, you will never be able to secure it or loadbalance properly if  using IP:s.

Still for testing we use Ips, for production we may use FQDN.

As i clear priviously , Many of time i connected to Pool as.

The Security-server actually have nothing todo with the PCoIP Secure Gateway.

There is many ways of setting this up but I think for you its easiest to check the PCoIP Secure Gateway and enter the same IP as for the external URL.

The way you have set it up now the client need to be able to resolve the hostname of the Virtual Desktop and I guess this is not resolving properly and you get no connection, if you configure it as above then all traffic will go through the connection-broker and there will be no direct connection between the client and the virtual desktop.

Thanks , Linjo

As per your instruction , my connectivity problem is solved Now. i changed these option

1)Enabled:PCoIP Secure Gateway , Use PCoIP secure Gateway for PCoIP connection to desktop ( Connection Server settings

ConnectionServer-General.JPG

2)Open TCP/UDP ports for 4172 in my firewall .

Main reason was "the connection to the remote computer ended" was PCoIP secure Gateway was not enabled.

I didn't have the gateway enabled, either, so I thought it would fix my problem (same problem). It didn't. I checked the firewall, and the ports are open. Any ideas?

Yes, you need to do all 3 steps - http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-14974

If any are not done or not done correctly you will get this symptom. This is how others have fixed it.

HI,

I am also having similar kind of issue. User logging get ended and in view managers i see warning "the pending session on machine for user has expired". This is RDSH server farm with 3 RDSH server on one farm. User in connection going to RDSH 3 and get disconnect. other user can connect to RDSH 3 or other Server successfully. All user trying to connect by PCoIP.
