It is good to have hands on experience before sitting for the exam, But you need to complete the vSphere training ICM Course to earn the certification Check for the institutes here for your location in INDIA
Hello,
The exam fee depends on your country/currency, but is normally set around a base price of US$225 - as an example it's currently £145 in the UK.
You cannot gain the certification without the official training, see here for details: http://www.vmware.com/go/vcp

I hope I'm not asking too much .....
I'm thinking of giving exam first and in next month the training...is that possible?
Thanks for help.

Just do a search with Country and City Name in the link, you will get the training centre details

Yes it is possible, make sure the email address which is registered in PearsonVUE and the one which you give in training center are the same.
Thanks,It will help.
If you take the exam first you will have to email certification@vmware.com after you have also completed the training to ask them to validate your status.
You will need to review the exam blueprint carefully and make sure you can answer questions on all the objectives.
Hi,
I have gone through VCP Exam Blueprint guide ,it have lot of guides in it and i have found some topics i have missed and they are not explained properly in 3 of course book which i got from a friend. Also i seen mock test and some sample Q's.
Do you think to get some dumps or lot of sample Q's for exam as i have self studied it all with just few tips from my VCP friend,
and are there 65 questions or 80 ,some info. about marking ,is there any negative marking?
please suggest me.
Also you talking about sending mail before the exam or after completing it.
Thanks
The blueprint objectives are what you are tested on, I recommend that you study those areas using the product documentation and software.
VCP exams have had 85 questions since version 3, the blueprint will confirm that too.
Dumps are a bad idea - they are created by cheats and are notoriously full of errors.
You only need to email certification@vmware.com if you take the exam before the training, if you do the training first then the exam then that is different.
Hi,
I can't login when going to VCP Mock test,
even through on right top it shows i have logged in,any idea?
Also done with Exam Blueprint and planning to go for exam at next week.
Can you guys please provide some sample Q's or pratice exam link so i can find out if i m ready.
I found this practice Q's-
http://blog.mwpreston.net/vcp-5/practice-quiz/vcp-5-practice-exam-all-sections/
please check if this could help.
I'm guessing that you scored 100% on your last attempt at the mock exam - the testing engine will only let you attempt the exam with that myLearn account til you score 100%.
The simplest thing to do is create another myLearn account.
As for other resources, the VCP5 tab on my blog has more info/resources: http://vmwaretraining.blogspot.com
Best of luck for the exam.
