I have a Dell Latitude 2120 that I am using to access my View 5.1.1 virtual desktops. Audio playback works like a charm but recording with the onboard mic does not work in the View session. I can record on the 2120 using WIndows sound recorder but not in the VM.
The audio driver on the 2120 is Realtek HD Audio driver. I have not tried the line in. The audio driver from Teradici was installed with the View agent in the VM.
Anyone have any Ideas?
Hi,
I have the same issue.Do you have any process about this issue?
Do the USB audio device work fine in your VM?
Thanks!
Analog recording is not currently supported in View.
You could add an USB-connected headset and redirect it to the vDesktop and record that way.
// Linjo
I ended up getting a newer version of the Teradici audio driver from their support. It had the same version and build number but would install on 5.1.1. That did the trick.
