Hi We are trying to P2V our Win2008R2 DCs but to no avail. Any one has successfully P2V win2008r2 DCs before?

Personally I wouldn't P2V a Domain Controller.
You are better to create a new VM, promote it to DC and the demote the old physical server.
I agree with Gooose, just create a new DC and then demote the physical box.
Yes, indeed. P2V might be too risky, go with a new one.
