VCM SQL.Integrity.Instance Failure

Hi

I'm busy installing the database components on my dedicated VCM SQL server but i keep getting a failure for SQL.Integrity.Instance.

I've confirmed that the version right, all the services are running, i have rebooted the server, checked permissions and made sure the service account has sysadmin rights and the collation is correct. The only difference from what they say is required in the documentation is the SQL version is 10.50.4000.0 rather than 10.50.1600.1 but the documentation does sya it needs to be 0.50.1600.1 or newer so this shouldn't be the problem

Anyone have any ideas??

I don't have control of the SQL server as it was created by the DB team but all checks of the SQL instance look correct

Hi

So it seems the problem was down to the local language being wrong on the SQL server and therefore impacting the collation

The SQL server instance had to be reinstalled after the local language was fixed as from what i'm told the collation can't be changed to reflect the local language change.
