Error connecting: VM configuration file does not exist. Do you want to try again?

Hi All,

Good day,

I have problem with a VM in our ESX3.5 build-317866 environment. The machine is in powered on status. not connecting to RDP. Machine is pinging but lot of netwrok distrubances.

Reply from 10.10.10.19: bytes=32 time=2605ms TTL=127
Reply from 10.10.10.19: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=127
Reply from 10.10.10.19: bytes=32 time=1478ms TTL=127
Request timed out.
Reply from 10.10.10.19: bytes=32 time=31ms TTL=127

Reply from 10.10.10.19: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=127

I tried to open the VM console but getting the bellow error

Please help me if any one had experienced this issue

did you check to see that hte vmx exists?

I can see the vmx file

inspect the vmx - maybe it is blank or invalid
