Vmware-vmx cpu load since mountain lion

Since upgrading to mountain lion and the latest fusion, my macbook air has been running really hot when vmware is running. I'm running win 7 64, and whilst it thinks it's cpu level is low, I'm often seeing vmware-vmx at approx 50% in OSX.

It only started once I went to mountain lion...

Any fixes available? My battery life is now terrible and the machine runs hot...

Hopefully I'm not alone with this problem?

Switch to the technical preview - much better 10.8 support.

ML has known battery impacts (many reports on the net) that shoul dbe fixed in 10.8.1.
