iMac mid-2010 keyboard disappears when starting VM with ML

Hi All,

Am running 4.1.3 with the latest VMware Tools and on OSX 10.8.

When I start my Windows XP VM, my keyboard turns off and I have to go back into System Preferences / Keyboard and re-pair the keyboard to bring it back.

Anyone know why this might be happening?  Suggestions to fix it would be hugely appreciated!

Try the fusion 5 technical preview - it has much better 10.8 support.

Hm.  If I "upgrade" to it, will I have to buy it when it's released?

Probably - it'll be Fusion 5.

Don't expect significant effort to be put into making 4.1.3 work better on 10.8 - that's what Fusion 5 is for.
