Is anyone out there using Deep Security along with Persona Management and Floating Pools? I am regularly getting the Persona error "your documents and settings have failed to backup." If I turn off Deep Security and the Deep Security Virtual Appliances I no longer receive the error.
I post this here because Trend states that VShield is unable to facilitate scanning of SMB shares and that they should be excluded from all types of scans, on access or otherwise. http://esupport.trendmicro.com/solution/en-us/1059280.aspx. I also want to know if any other Vmware users are successfully using this combination of products. I created the exclusions and do not receive the error as much as I did but still have the error and it prevents us from using Deep Security in a production environment.
