Esxi host down all vm's on the host locked

Hi all,

One of my esxi host was suddenly down due to host failure and all my vm's are locked that host. We try to add all vms' to other host but the vm's are remined in power on state so we cann't able to add thoes vm's into the other inventory. how can i reslove this issue.

restart the management agents.

also enable ssh, and ssh in before you restart the agents.

this way you can also try via command line.

once you start a reset, you will not be able to ssh in.

after the host comes avaialble, vmotion off the servers then reboot if you want.

if you restart management agents AND the guests stop responding

then you have to reboot hard

Actually my esxi host was down ( crashed ) suddenly and we are not enabling HA on that machine. in datastore the VM's are in poweron state how should i restart he machine.

Wheather i have to remove the host from Vcenter and add the vm's to the inventoy. or any other suggestion
