network Adapter missing

Hello all,

I have used vmware workstaion 7.0.0 build-203739....on couple of differnet computers/hosts(mostly XP and win7)...now i insatlled vmware workstation on this new machine, but i do not see the network adapter under network connection in windows 7 due to which i cannot connect to my workstation...

i am running centos 5.5 on my guest OS and i have copied over from one of my other desktop and it work fine there...as i copied i changed the settings of Virtual network editor to match my subnet/to keep the machine host only...i done this server times, but on this machine i am not able to connect to my vmware using putty( ip is local as 192.168.23.115)....using network adaptor as custom VMNet1 and vmnet1 subnet is set to 192.168.23.1

i am not sure why i am not able to connect but one thing i found is i do not see vmware network adapter under network connection in windows 7....

Ensure that you installed the software with local Administrator account. Also try restoring the defaults from File > Virtual Network Editor. Restoring the defaults should recreate the network adapters.
