Regarding VT

Hi All,

I'm running a virtual machine with Windows 2008 R2 64-bit guest OS on a ESXi host.

And have installed VMPlayer on it. The VMPlayer has another virtual machine which runs Windows 2008 R2 64-bit.
Whenever i try to power on the virtual machine inside the VMPlayer it says
"software virtualization is not compaitable with long mode on this platform.Disabling the long mode.Without the long mode support the virtual machine wil not be able to run 64-bit code"
Many of the KB posts suggested me to enable VT on the BIOS of the ESXi host. I'm running the host on a Cisco UCS blade and have enabled the VT in the BIOS policy and have shut the server down and restarted it.
But the error has not gone. can anyone help me solve it??

Are you sure the gest on the ESXi is 64? Haven't you enabled VT after installing it? Check on the VM Settings if it is correctly configured as a w2k8 64 bits.
