Which VMware product are you using? If it is vSphere you can simply insert the cd in your desktop - create the VM with the vSphere client making sure the virtual cd is connected at powere on and point to to the client cd -

I apologized that I didn't give you any details. I have the cd on the server and when I restart the vm there is no option to change the boot order for the cd . I want to install windows 2008 server on my new vm. I also have tried to press f2 but it never gives me enough time or the screen with the vmware logo.
I have a server 2 processors 2GHZ and 4 GB Ram.
I want to install two VM and
1/2 Processor and 1 GB Ram to 1st VM
1.5 Processor and 3 GB Ram to 2nd VM
Please tell what product of vmware can i use to accomplish this......
