VMware zeigt mir aber die Version 7.1.5 build-491717 an.

Wird es ein Update geben oder muss ich jetzt ständig mit der Meldung von Secunia leben?

Irgendwann werde ich vielleicht die 8er kaufen, aber wozu, wenn die 7er noch vollkommen für mich ausreicht.

Was meint ihr dazu; es sind bestimmt auch andere betroffen.

As the product is end of life you can either choose to upgrade the product to the most recent version to continue getting updates for the product. There will be no development commitment from VMware as the product is End of Life.

However, you can choose to continue using the product if it is working fine in your current setup.
