Getting storage vmotion with RDM right in my head

Hi Everyone,

For some reason I cannot get RDM rights in my head. Don't know for why. I was under the impression that you can storage vmotion virtual RDMS without issue, but with physical you can only do a cold storage vmotion within the cluster ?

This document however http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&docTypeID=DT_KB_1_1&e... suggests that both physical and virtual RDMs can be storage vmotioned without issue. Seeing as I am sitting my VCP 4 soon, is that actually correct ? I know you cannot SVM if you have a snapshot on the disk.

The current KB article about Storage vMotion is http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1005241. This shows all the available options (including Storage vMotion with Snapshots on vSphere 5).
